The Recreation Scholarship Program offers qualifying households the opportunity to register for City recreation programming at a discounted rate. Participants may receive a 50% or 75% discount to be applied toward classes and programs offered by the City's Recreation and Community Services Department. Qualifying households are eligible for up to $200 in assistance per year.
The City is currently accepting applications for the FY 25-26 program year which runs from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Applications may be turned in at the Recreation Office located at 1700 W Victoria Ave.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Montebello Resident - must provide copy of driver's license or utility bill with matching name and address
- Income Limit - must provide income documentation, see application for household income limits based on household size
