Meetings

The City Council/Successor Agency meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. with Closed Session and Regular Session begins immediately thereafter; if there is no Closed Session, Regular Session will begin at 6:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1600 West Beverly Boulevard, Montebello, CA 90640. The agenda and agenda packet related to items on this agenda are available for public inspection 72 hours before each meeting.

To request copies of City Council Agendas, please contact the City Clerk's Office by email at [email protected] or by phone at (323) 887-1359. Copies will be provided upon payment of the applicable fee in accordance with the City's Fee Schedule. 

All meetings are open to the public in person, but viewers may watch the City Council Meetings from home by clicking on the link below or on Spectrum Public Access Channel 3 for all Spectrum cable subscribers.

In-Person – For those interested in participating during the Public Comment period(s) or public testimony period for Public Hearings of the City Council meetings, you may address the City Council in person the day of the meeting. Speakers will be required to fill out a speaker card provided at the door and submit it to City Clerk staff prior to each Public Comment announcement period. Staff will number and call each speaker card in the order received. Closed Session begins at 6:00 p.m. and Regular Session begins immediately thereafter; if there is no Closed Session, Regular Session will begin at 6:00 p.m.

En Persona – Para quienes deseen participar durante el(los) período(s) de Comentarios del Público o durante el período de testimonio público de las Audiencias Públicas de las reuniones del Concejo Municipal, podrán dirigirse al Concejo Municipal en persona el día de la reunión. Los oradores deberán completar una tarjeta para oradores, disponible en la entrada, y entregarla al personal de la Secretaría Municipal antes del inicio de cada período de Comentarios del Público. El personal numerará y llamará a cada tarjeta para oradores en el orden en que sea recibida. La Sesión Cerrada comenzará a las 6:00 p.m. y la Sesión Ordinaria iniciará inmediatamente después. Si no hay Sesión Cerrada, la Sesión Ordinaria comenzará a las 6:00 p.m.
