WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT VEHICLES THAT ARE ABANDONED OR INOPERABLE?
- Vehicles that are inoperable on private property are considered blight. They cannot be parked on the street or stored on private property unless fully enclosed within legal structure, i.e. garage. CAR COVERS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. To report inoperable vehicles:

I LOST MY PARKING VIOLATION-WHAT DO I DO?
- Attached to your parking violation is an envelope to mail your parking violation. If you have LOST your parking violation, you need to contact the Parking Division (323)-887-1200 EXT. 1399.

WHAT DO I DO IF I AM HAVING CAR TROUBLE & ITS MY STREET SWEEPING DAY?
- If you're having car trouble the MORNING of your street sweeping day, please call (323) 887-1200 EXT. 1399
- CALL BEFORE the street sweeper passes in order to avoid a citation and have the following information ready:
- LICENSE PLATES
- STATE
- MODEL
- MAKE
- COLOR
- LOCATION
- NAME & PHONE NUMBER
Your vehicle may receive a temporary parking permit, which MUST be picked up from City Hall to avoid a citation. The permit is valid for a maximum of ten (10) days and there will only be one (1) permit issued per vehicle, no permit will be issued twice for the same vehicle. PLEASE NOTE THIS PERMIT ONLY EXEMPTS FROM STREET SWEEPING CITATIONS, OTHER VIOLATIONS MAY BE CITED.
All City-issued parking permit placards must be affixed to the interior driver side window. A permit is considered invalid if placed elsewhere or upside down.
In the event the street sweeper passes and you receive a citation, you will need to fill out the parking adjudication form and dispute the citation issued. No exceptions.
