Mr. Figueroa serves the City of Montebello as Director of Human Resources. He is committed to providing meaningful contributions to the City’s performance level and work culture. His vision is to be a collaborative and strategic leader in implementing the policy direction of the City Council. Mr. Figueroa is honored to have the opportunity to serve the Montebello community.
Mr. Figueroa brings 28 years of human resources management experience to Montebello. He previously served as the Acting Executive Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations Manager for the City of Santa Ana. He also served the cities of Anaheim and Ontario as well as at the Community Development Commission of Los Angeles County in human resources and employee/labor relations management roles.
Mr. Figueroa earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management and Human Resources from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He also earned certification as a CALPELRA Labor Relations Master and is a certified mediator through the Orange County Human Relations Council. In his free time, Mr. Figueroa enjoys traveling and spending family time with his wife and three kids.
